ACQUANEGRA, FIBER OPTIC WORK BEGINS: MYNET READY TO EXTEND THE NETWORK TO THE VILLAGES OF VALLI AND MOSIO

ACQUANEGRA (MANTOVA) – Thanks to close collaboration with the municipal administration, about ten days ago Mynet’s operational teams officially started the fiber optic infrastructure works in the territory of Acquanegra sul Chiese: once the backbone running from Canneto sull’Oglio to the town’s PCN is completed, the technicians will proceed with cable installation in the coming weeks.

This significant network extension by the operator was preceded by the creation of new telecommunications infrastructure using low-impact, minimally invasive technologies. Initially, the no-dig technique (a special method that allows cable installation while minimizing or completely avoiding open excavation) was implemented in Canneto sull’Oglio; teams then focused on the construction of Mynet Olo manholes and related interconnections within the municipality of Acquanegra, concluding with the extension of the optical cabling over a total length of more than 5 kilometers along the following roads: Provincial Road 343, Via Matteotti, Via Gramsci, Via Solferino, Via Trento, and Via Mazzini.

With Mynet’s support, the Administration aims to make fiber connectivity available throughout the territory, starting from the town center and extending to the Valli and Mosio hamlets, where more significant infrastructure work will certainly be needed.

Until December 31, companies can still access the Voucher Plan, which promotes ultra-fast connectivity and the digitalization of the production system through connection to true fiber optic, like Mynet’s. The incentive aims to provide ultra-broadband services with speeds up to 1.5 Gbit/s, at a reduced activation cost, while maintaining the subscription fee agreed at the time of contract signing.
