CASTIGLIONE DELLE STIVIERE (MANTUA) – The fiber optic infrastructure project in the Belvedere district of Castiglione delle Stiviere, carried out by Mynet, is nearing completion. All residential units that request it will soon be connected with true fiber optic directly to the buildings (FTTH, Fiber To The Home) with speeds up to 1 Gbit/s, as an alternative to existing services, which are characterized by instability and limited speeds (often even below 30 Mbit/s).

Currently, the streets involved are specifically Via dei Mandorli, Via Guercino, Via Nepote, Via Balestra, and Via Matteotti, all of which have undergone mini-trench excavations by Mynet teams in recent weeks to minimize inconvenience to residents; the remaining part of the district will be covered shortly after: the project aims to connect the entire prestigious residential area overlooking the morainic hills.

The installed infrastructure guarantees extremely high performance, not achievable with outdated copper networks, “pseudo-fiber,” or wireless. Its features are illustrated by the company’s General Manager, Giovanni Zorzoni. «Only Mynet is investing in fiber optic directly to homes in Castiglione delle Stiviere, providing countless advantages for households: first of all, Gigabit-per-second transmission speeds, both download and upload, made possible by ultra-broadband.
