MYNET'S WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED IN SAN GIORGIO BIGARELLO: NEW RESIDENTIAL AREAS IN THE TOWN CONNECTED TO FTTH

SAN GIORGIO BIGARELLO (MANTOVA) – The large-scale project by Mynet in San Giorgio Bigarello has recently been completed: the old ADSL and FTTC telephone connections have been replaced with true fiber optic, and in recent months the telecom operator focused on wiring the new residential areas of the town, which can now finally enjoy a high-speed, low-latency connection.

Among the streets served by Mynet with FTTH (Fiber To The Home, true fiber optic directly into homes) with stable and reliable speeds of 300 Mbit/s download and 100 Mbit/s upload in San Giorgio are Via XXV Aprile, Via Mantegna, Via Caravaggio, Via Canaletto, Via Michelangelo, Via G. Romano, Via Pisanello, Via Caselle, Piazza San Giorgio, Piazza Silone, Via Sciascia, and Via Leopardi; the Piazza Giotto neighborhood, in particular, has long been covered and is immediately activatable.

In Mottella, the following streets have recently been reached: Via Aosta, Via Veneto, Via Sardegna, Via Marche, Via Abruzzo, Via Lombardia, Via Toscana, Via Piemonte, and Via Liguria.

Finally, regarding the "river district" in Tripoli, excavation and installation works of the new FTTH fiber optic infrastructure offering web access up to 1 Gigabit/s have been completed: streets activated include Ticino, Brenta, Adda, Piave, Po, Noce, Taro, Volturno, Trebbia, Tagliamento, Lambro, Piave, Isonzo, Sarca, Tanaro, and Scrivia. In the coming months, Mynet’s residential network expansion projects will also reach the "poets’ district," from which numerous activation requests have already been received.
