As part of the side events of Festivaletteratura, the presentation of the publication took place before a packed audience of technology enthusiasts. The two authors were moderated by the general coordinator of the UniverMantova Foundation

The story of the birth and development of the Italian Internet was the focus of one of the side events of Festivaletteratura with the presentation of the book "1995‑2025. Thirty Years of Internet. Stories of the development of the Italian Internet told by the protagonists." The event was held today Friday, September 5 at 6:15 PM in the evocative setting of Palazzo d'Arco before a large audience of enthusiasts.

The volume, a publication of over 400 pages, was curated by Giovanni Zorzoni, General Director of Mynet and Vice President of AIIP, and Giuliano Claudio Peritore, President of the Italian Internet Providers Association (AIIP), both present at the event.

"Those who know the past and can read its signs are able to see before others where the world is heading" – said Zorzoni – "distinguishing between surface movements and the deep currents that truly drive the world."
"It was a true pleasure to present our story in this setting" – added Peritore – "we hope that some of the topics presented will inspire our youth."

During the meeting, moderated by Luisa Lavagnini, General Coordinator of the UniverMantova Foundation, the two authors retraced the rapid evolution of the Internet in Italy, paying tribute to the entrepreneurs who, with vision and passion, helped bring the network even to the most remote areas of the country, reducing the digital divide.
