MYNET'S FIBER OPTIC CONSTRUCTION SITE IN BRENZONE IS IN ITS FINAL PHASE

BRENZONE SUL GARDA (VERONA) – The extension works of Mynet’s true fiber optic network in Brenzone sul Garda are expected to be completed by the end of this year. After completing the backbone infrastructure, in recent days the telecommunications company has been finalizing ultra-broadband connections for the Town Hall, the Scalette school complex, the multifunctional “ex-schools” building in Castelletto, and the Tourist Information Office (IAT) in Porto, as well as for the small ports of Magugnago, Assenza, Castelletto, and Porto. The sports facilities in Acquafresca and Prada, the multifunctional hall with library, and the cemeteries of Magugnago and Castelletto di Brenzone are also being connected; these will soon be equipped with an advanced video surveillance system designed to ensure visitor safety and prevent vandalism and theft. Splicing and testing of the optical circuits for all these locations are scheduled for the second half of December.

Mynet’s intervention in Brenzone is part of a much broader project to extend FTTH (Fiber To The Home – fiber all the way into the building) connectivity along the Verona side of Lake Garda, which began a few months ago in Malcesine and will soon reach the renowned tourist destination of Bardolino.
