FIBER OPTIC WORK COMPLETED IN POMPONESCO

POMPONESCO (MANTUA) – Goal achieved in Pomponesco: following the completion of the main optical backbone along the provincial road, extending for over two kilometers, and the subsequent creation of an additional 2.5 km access network serving the town center, last week Mynet successfully completed the final testing of the optical circuits for municipal buildings and is now ready to activate the first contracted connections.

All institutional facilities in the town have been connected with FTTH (Fiber To The Home – true fiber optic all the way into the building) ultra-high-speed connections. Specifically, the following sites are now linked: the Town Hall in Piazza XXIII Aprile, the primary and nursery schools in Via Roma, the theatre, the Civil Protection headquarters, and the sports facilities in Via Don Primo Mazzolari.

The natural future development of the project includes FTTH connection of local businesses operating in the municipal area, as well as the opportunity for private users to request pure FTTH fiber connections after a specific feasibility assessment.
