FIBER OPTICS SERVING THE "CITY OF STOCKINGS": MYNET EXTENDS ITS NETWORK TO CASTEL GOFFREDO

CASTEL GOFFREDO (MANTOVA) – Work has recently been completed for the new infrastructure extension of Mynet's fiber optic network in Castel Goffredo. Two areas were involved in recent months by the teams of the Mantua-based internet provider: on one side there is Viale Avis with Provincial Road 6, where at the end of January redevelopment and safety works for the cycling and pedestrian paths, planned by the municipal administration, had begun. Thanks to the productive synergy with the public entity, Mynet was able to work in the area minimizing road and sidewalk disruptions, thus reducing inconvenience for citizens; the area already wired includes in detail Via S. Marco, Via S. Luca, Via S. Erasmo, Via S. Carlo, Via S. Francesco, Via S. Giovanni Bosco, Via della Pace and the very first stretch of Strada Brughiere.

A little further away, the second and much larger construction site is bordered by Via Monviso, Via Moro, Via Monte Bondone, Via Presanella, Via Monte Gran Sasso, Via Monte Baldo, Strada di Apollonia, Via Monte Bianco, Via San Giuseppe, Via Santa Cecilia, Via Santa Maria, Via Concordia, Via Rossa, Via La Malfa, Via Togliatti, Via De Gasperi, Via dei Caduti, Via Bonfiglio, Via Leopardi, Via Pertini and Via Ferrari: in this area, Mynet has also developed a new extension of its network of type FTTH (Fiber To The Home), true fiber optic directly into homes, offering citizens the possibility to enjoy a new high-speed connection, extremely low latency, and zero packet loss up to 1 Gigabit/s download and 300 Mbit/s upload.
