CARPENEDOLO (BRESCIA) – Mynet’s fiber optic network is increasingly pervasive even in the province of Brescia: with the arrival of the new year, the national telecommunications operator is replicating the success of its connectivity model by bringing ultrabroadband with super-fast connections up to 10 Gbit/s to Carpenedolo, a populous town in the Bassa Bresciana on the banks of the Chiese River.

After the initial infrastructure investments made between 2017 and 2019, the northern telco management has recently decided to further strengthen its networks in the area, starting precisely from Carpenedolo, located halfway between Brescia and Mantua and crossed from north to south by the “Asolana” state road connecting Montichiari and Parma. This is a deliberate choice, anticipating further important developments in the coming months.

To date, ultrabroadband is already active in all industrial areas of Carpenedolo, connecting 100% of the local businesses. Now, after enhancing fiber optic service for business customers, Mynet is already working on expanding the network to residential customers, also thanks to the role of the municipal administration, with which it has long maintained a constructive dialogue aimed at reconciling the needs of the private and public sectors. The shared goal is to implement the existing infrastructure network, offering increasingly advanced technological services capable of delivering high performance even for households, with true fiber GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) up to the interior of homes.
