POMPONESCO, FIRST CONNECTIONS AND TESTING FOR MYNET'S FIBER OPTICS

POMPONESCO (MANTUA) – In the past few weeks, the works for the installation of the new true fiber optic infrastructure by Mynet in Pomponesco have been completed: after the construction of the backbone infrastructure along the provincial road, nearly two kilometers long, followed by the creation of the access network of another two and a half kilometers to serve the town center, the telecommunications company’s teams are now about to start the connection and testing of municipal offices and the first contracted users.

All institutional hubs in the town have been connected with FTTH (Fiber To The Home, true fiber optic directly into the building) at very high speed: specifically, the Town Hall in Piazza XXIII Aprile, the primary and kindergarten schools, the theater, the Civil Protection headquarters, and the sports facilities in Piazzale Togliani are now connected.

The natural future evolution of the project foresees the FTTH connection of all productive activities located in the municipal territory.
