REAL FIBER OPTIC INTERNET ARRIVES IN SONA

Sona (VR) – The digital future of Sona Capoluogo is just around the corner. Mynet, a leading telecommunications operator in the ultra-broadband connectivity sector, invites all citizens to a public informational meeting to be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM, at the Parish Church of San Salvatore and Santa Maria Elisabetta (Piazza della Vittoria, 9).

The event aims to present the project "Mynet’s real fiber optic arrives in Sona Capoluogo" and clarify how "real" fiber (FTTH - Fiber To The Home) will transform connectivity for homes and businesses in the municipality, overcoming the limitations of current copper connections.

A participatory project: the "survey"
Unlike standard rollouts, the project for Sona is based on a participatory model. Through the dedicated portal 357.vogliadifibra.it, citizens and entrepreneurs can express their interest, without obligation, by March 15. This "survey" phase is essential to define priority intervention areas: the higher the density of requests in a specific street, the faster construction will begin in that area.

Timeline and benefits
During the evening, preceded by a welcome aperitif, Mynet technicians and managers will illustrate the three key steps of the project:

Collection of expressions of interest aimed at reaching a critical threshold of subscriptions
Planning and construction: once the critical threshold is reached, the construction site will be designed and excavation operations (using low environmental impact techniques) and cable laying will begin
Activation: the final step that brings fiber directly into the building, ensuring stable speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second and beyond.

The development of the Mynet network in the municipal area will follow a step-by-step strategy designed to ensure efficiency and widespread coverage:
Phase 1 - Sona Capoluogo: the project officially starts from the center of Sona, identified as the priority starting point for infrastructure deployment.
Phase 2 - Extension to the hamlets: once the network in the main town is consolidated, the plan provides for progressive extension to the other hamlets of the Municipality, with the aim of covering the entire area and reducing the local digital divide.

Admission is free and open to everyone. At the end of the presentation, there will be a dedicated Q&A session where citizens can ask the Mynet staff technical or commercial questions.
