"DIGITAL ARDIMENTO": MYNET BRINGS ULTRA-FAST FIBER TO THE VITTORIALE DEGLI ITALIANI

02/13/2026

The technological infrastructure project of the Poet’s residence is underway: a new 3 km backbone cable will connect the monumental complex to the company network with 1 Gigabit performance. The collaboration combines the charm of history with cutting-edge innovation.

Gardone Riviera (BS), 13 February 2026 – History and innovation merge under the banner of "Digital Daring". Today the technological infrastructure project was officially presented, which will see Mynet, a leading telecommunications operator in the area, bring ultra-high-performance connectivity inside the Vittoriale degli Italiani.

The technical project: 3 km of dedicated fiber
Connection works officially began yesterday, 12 February, and will be completed within approximately one month. The operation required a three-week preparatory phase dedicated to meticulous planning, site inspections, and obtaining permits from ANAS and the Municipality of Gardone Riviera.

The core of the intervention consists of laying a new 3,100-meter backbone cable, specifically built for this project, running along the Gardesana (SS45bis) from Salò to the monumental complex. Once construction is complete, the Vittoriale will benefit from 1000/1000 Mbps (1 Gigabit) symmetrical connectivity, already prepared for further technological upgrades in the future.

Statements
"This collaboration stems from the belief that cultural sites, in order to thrive and safeguard their heritage, must also know how to operate as enterprises - states Giordano Bruno Guerri, President of the Fondazione Il Vittoriale degli Italiani - “Investing in technological infrastructure means making the Vittoriale more efficient, sustainable, and capable of creating value, without interfering with the visitor experience: the works will have no impact on visits, and the Vittoriale will remain open and fully accessible at 100% of its capacity.”.

“We chose the name ‘Digital Daring’ to emphasize the parallel between d’Annunzio’s futurist drive and our technological mission – adds Luciana Dolci, Commercial Manager of Mynet Area Bergamo and BresciaBringing our optical fiber into such a remarkable setting is a challenge that fills us with pride. Just as the futurists celebrated speed, today we bring the speed of light in data into a national monument, creating an invisible yet powerful bridge between historical memory and the digital future.”

Simone Locatelli, technical manager of the project for Mynet, added: “We are proud to put our expertise at the service of such a prestigious location. Improving the visitor experience through invisible yet essential technology is the main objective of this intervention.”
