MONZAMBANO – Two years after the first infrastructural intervention in the area, Mynet is once again investing in Monzambano: the FTTC connection (Fiber To The Cabinet – fiber optic up to the street cabinet) is already active, offering citizens the possibility to benefit from high-speed internet with up to 100 Mbit/s download and 20 Mbit/s upload. At the moment, Mynet is the only operator that has invested in Monzambano in this and other ultra-broadband technologies. The collaboration with the municipal administration was fundamental, allowing Mynet in recent months to bring its modern infrastructure to the Mantuan hills, capable of guaranteeing technologically advanced services aligned with the country’s digital transformation. “Two years ago we could not have imagined how important fiber optics would become for the entire community,” explains the mayor of Monzambano, Giorgio Cappa. “In the year marked by the pandemic, we all discovered, without distinction, how essential a fast internet connection is for work, study, and even emotional bonds. This intervention was necessary then, and it is even more necessary today.” After connecting public municipal buildings (including schools) and the industrial-artisanal area to high-speed fiber, Mynet is now accelerating towards private users, in light of new needs brought about by the lockdown, which increased smart working, distance learning, online shopping, and the consumption of multimedia content on smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. To launch the service, Mynet has developed an exclusive offer reserved for residents: further information is available by contacting the direct number 0376 22 22 00 or via email at home@mynet.it.
