PIUBEGA – Thanks to Mynet, Piubega is now connected to fiber optics and can browse the web at high speed. In the municipal area, an active FTTC connection (Fiber To The Cabinet – fiber optics up to the street cabinet) allows citizens to enjoy an internet connection of up to 100 Mbit/s download and 20 Mbit/s upload; this is an important investment by the company, aimed at eliminating the limits imposed by the digital divide during a particularly delicate phase such as the pandemic.

To respond to the renewed needs of citizens, who due to Covid have increasingly relied on smart working, distance learning, and online shopping, the municipal administration of Piubega has also decided to highlight Mynet’s fiber optic service for private users, recognizing its public usefulness. “We will allow the technicians of the Mantua-based company to meet, in total safety, citizens interested in activating the ultrabroadband connection,” explains Mayor Maria Cristina Zinetti. “The informational meetings will be held, by appointment only, at the municipal civic hall in Piazza Cavallara 17, on January 22, February 5, and February 19, always in the morning.”
