FIBER OPTICS AND HOME AUTOMATION, MYNET AND CONFARTIGIANATO CONFERENCE ON THE EVOLUTION OF THE "HOME SYSTEM"
MANTUA – “Optical Fiber and Home Automation: The Revolution Within Reach” is the title of the conference organized by Mynet and Confartigianato Imprese Mantova, scheduled for Friday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference hall of Hotel La Favorita.

The event, made possible by the growing availability of ultra-broadband even in rural and remote areas, aims to explore the exponential rise in demand for connected and integrated home systems – a true cultural and technological revolution that is leading to radical changes in all stages of the building process, from architectural design to energy and installation technologies. For this reason, the main goal of the seminar is to outline a concrete and realistic picture of the future characteristics of the “home system” and its rapid evolution into a smart home, thanks to optical fiber.

Opening remarks will be given by Mynet’s General Director Giovanni Zorzoni, the President of Confartigianato Imprese Mantova Lorenzo Capelli, and Alessandro Carreri, President of the electricians’ trade association. They will be followed by presentations from Davide Zavanella, Mynet Technical Delivery Manager (“Optical Fiber and Home Automation: Current and Future Scenarios and Opportunities in Our Smart Lives”), Damiano Pedrazzani, Mynet Business Sales Representative (“Mynet and Local Development”), Daniele Baldassari of Studio Elettrotecnico Associato Baldassari (“The Evolution of Connectivity in Our Homes: From 1980s Systems to Today, the Growing Need to ‘Communicate’ with the Outside World, a Look at the Near Future”), and Alessandro Cugliandro, Head of the Home Automation Division at Biesse S.p.A. (“The New Home Automation Regulations”). The conference will conclude with several successful case studies on the application of fiber optics to home automation. The moderator will be Valentina Bigi, Mynet Communications Manager.

To attend the seminar, participants must register by February 23 by sending an email to: carlo.gandini@confartigianato.mn.it. A Green Pass and FFP2 mask are required for admission.
