FIBRE OPTICS ARRIVES IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA OF REZZATO: ULTRA-FAST CONNECTIVITY FOR COMPANIES IN THE DISTRICT FROM MARCH
A project that came to life thanks to a public-private partnership. Soon the industrial area of Rezzato will be served by real fiber optic, providing remarkable connection speeds – up to 1 Gbps – thanks solely to the synergy between the Municipal Administration, the Asimpre Association, which brings together numerous local companies, and Mynet, a leading telecommunications operator in ultra-fast connectivity.

“We are convinced that a company's competitiveness largely depends on its ability to compete with its rivals by having access to the same opportunities and tools” – declares Rezzato's Councilor for Productive Activities, Angelo LaffranchiThis Administration believes that one of the most important factors is the ability to communicate effectively and quickly with the outside world, increasing each company's competitive capacity. Consequently, in collaboration with Asimpre (Association of Rezzato Companies), we analyzed the possibility of equipping the Curvione industrial area with the necessary infrastructure to allow the companies operating here to have the connectivity they need to work without issues such as slow navigation, poor connection, or unreliability, which are currently experienced. Therefore, having already planned to equip this area with video surveillance managed by our Local Police, we met with Mynet, the company installing fiber optic throughout most of our municipality, and together, through good synergistic work, we established the conditions for all companies in the Curvione industrial area to connect to this network, gaining significant advantages in both service and efficiency. This approach confirms the attention this Administration wants to give to the productive and commercial fabric operating in our city, seeking and encouraging actions of dialogue and collaboration with different entities with the sole purpose of solving problems and creating opportunities that would otherwise not be possible. It is evident that all of this, besides creating the right conditions for the economic activities in our territory to work properly, can represent an incentive for other companies to consider locating in Rezzato, with consequent benefits for the entire community, including the possibility of increased employment demand.”

“A company's competitiveness is fundamental for establishing itself in its market” – adds ASIMPRE President Matteo BoniottiCompetitiveness is determined by the entrepreneur's ability and corporate governance to organize and optimize production processes, increasingly interactive and digitally connected. It would be unthinkable to make a last season's Formula One car compete against an Alfa used by Nuvolari, now outdated and antiquated. It is therefore essential that our companies have infrastructure at a high level to compete at top levels. Entrepreneurs must rely on digitalization and adequate infrastructure to remain competitive and create production processes in line with the times. Local administrations, in turn, support entrepreneurs by providing clear regulations and adequate infrastructure. The coverage of the Curvione industrial area is the result of teamwork, perfectly aligned with the spirit of public-private collaboration. I therefore thank both Mynet and the Municipal Administration of Rezzato for their fruitful cooperation and for the result achieved.

With the enhancement of the video surveillance system, which has also been extended to the Curvione industrial area, decided by the Municipality” – explains Alberto Belpietro, who followed the initiative for Mynetit was possible to plan the fiber optic infrastructure even for the artisan district, which hosts about fifteen companies. The area had extremely poor and unreliable connectivity, which did not meet the needs of a productive activity: slow browsing, impossible downloads, intermittent operation. In a week, cable-laying works will begin, lasting about ten days, followed by the first line activations. From February, companies that requested it will have ultra-fast connectivity capable of bringing numerous benefits to internal processes. We thank the Councilor of Rezzato, Angelo Laffranchi, and Asimpre represented by President Matteo Boniotti, for this splendid teamwork, which allowed us to reach the finish line. Companies in the Curvione industrial area will have ultra-fast connectivity, capable of bringing numerous benefits to industrial processes. Once again, we are partners in territorial projects, such as this one. Mynet is an operator active throughout northern Italy but maintains a strong presence in the territory where it operates, attentive and sensitive to the needs expressed there.”
