FIBER OPTICS IN MALCESINE: ONLINE MEETING WITH MYNET STAFF ON THURSDAY

MALCESINE (VERONA) – The progress of the infrastructure deployment in Malcesine and why Mynet is the only private operator to have invested in true fiber optic in the area will be discussed, among other topics, on Thursday, June 24 at 8:30 PM during the informational meeting organized by the telecommunications company to publicly present the cabling plan for the territory.

The meeting, which will be held exclusively online in full compliance with all Covid prevention and containment measures, will feature Mynet General Manager Giovanni Zorzoni and Commercial Director Giorgio Intonti, who will focus on the advantages of ultra-broadband for businesses and citizens as well as the different methods for activating the service.

Having completed the deployment of the brand-new FTTH (Fiber To The Home – true fiber optic directly to the home) network infrastructure, which allows the main municipal and school buildings in the town center, about sixty hotels throughout the territory, and all customers within 50 meters of the fiber access network to browse at speeds up to 1 Gigabit/s, the mixed copper-fiber service (FTTC – Fiber To The Cabinet, fiber optic to the street cabinet) is also about to be activated for smart working, distance learning, online shopping, low-latency gaming, and high-resolution streaming using the last section of the telephone network.
