MOGLIA – Mynet’s fiber optic network now reaches the company’s doorstep. This is happening in Moglia, where the entire industrial area of the town was connected to broadband just last weekend, in record time, through four kilometers of excavation starting from nearby Reggiolo. This intervention will now allow the companies that make up the local industrial fabric to surf the Internet at speeds up to 10 Gigabits per second, speeds until recently imaginable only in cities and certainly not in small towns and rural areas of the province.

There are 26 business clients who have already subscribed to Mynet’s offer, but the number is expected to grow, and not only among companies: the telecom operator has already planned the replacement of 320 residential customers, currently connected via radio bridge solutions, designing the necessary excavations to connect them all with FTTH fiber optic (Fiber To The Home – true fiber directly into the home), thus guaranteeing both businesses and private customers requesting high performance and quality internet connection a reliable service at competitive prices.

Mynet is now waiting to receive from the Municipality the necessary permits for the reuse of public lighting ducts, submitted in a meeting with the Administration on July 24, in order to limit excavation and public inconvenience and to greatly accelerate execution speed.

The Mynet project will then move to Bondanello and San Giacomo delle Segnate, eventually reaching Quingentole, thus completing the loop of the proprietary fiber optic network in the province of Mantua.
«In a few weeks,» comments Mynet’s General Manager, Giovanni Zorzoni, «the connectivity of Moglia will completely change. With fiber optic, companies will finally be able to take advantage of all the services that characterize a smart city. The Covid lockdown period has shown once again how important it is to rely on the network to continue working and communicating: for this reason, companies cannot fail to fully exploit the advantages of fiber optic.»
